When you make a purchase the store is designed like you buy each product and own it. Just so it would work. This is practically a scam, since when do I need to pay for something I already own just so it would work again? And the most aggravating thing is that in one year, if I want my stuff to work I have a choice - update my machine's OS and pay another 240$ - or stay with my outdated OS for ever. I have a new set up, and because it involves a new OS - I need to update the plugins to V13.Problem is I don't have my update plan subscription anymore (cause it expires after a year). So in order to update my plugins - I need to pay 240$ for the update plan.ΔΆ40 fucking dollars. I think the software is amazing and I'm totally dependent on it as a producer / engineer.Although - I feel like Waves' treatment of their consumers is greedy and not transparent.I never really thought it would bother me that much, but now I feel like Waves is taking advantage of me.I bought the Diamond pack plus some single plugins. I use Waves software on a daily, on literally every project. TL DR - a Karen rant about Wave's transparency about 'owning' your software.
